From Grandma’s Kitchen to CookieCheeks
Growing up, I spent numerous hours in my grandmother’s kitchen. I watched with complete awe at her ability to create such delicious food out of basic, everyday ingredients. It fascinated me.
My childhood is a sweet memory of air that always smelt of freshly baked cookies that tasted like magic. Watching my grandma bake with so much love and passion ignited a similar spark within me. And I decided to pursue the same interest.
As I grew older, I began creating my recipes by experimenting with various flavors and techniques. Baking became my happy place; it was a creative outlet where I could unleash my creativity and share my love with the world.
My ambition to expand my interest was driven by years of baking for friends and family. After a while, I decided to share my creations with more people. The result? My love for the sweet treats was expanded to friends, professional organizations, and catered parties. The business department at Benson High School awarded me the esteemed 2024 Sales Award in recognition of my commitment to the business.
The Birth of CookieCheeks
The name “CookieCheeks” honors my grandmother, who gave me the nickname. She always had faith in me and was my strongest ally. I wanted to start a company that would make her proud and pay tribute to her memory!
More than just a bakery, CookieCheeks is a representation of my grandmother’s passion, love, and unshakable faith in me. It has become a way for me to cherish her memory and spread the joy and happiness baking gave to her life with my cookies.
